Byredo Flowerhead Perfume by Byredo, First released in 2014, Byredo Flowerhead pays tribute to the luxuriant floral garlands and decorations used to celebrate traditional Indian weddings. This fragrance is a bright and heady effusion of intoxicating white florals, underpinned by vibrant green and animalic nuances. The opening is tart-sweet and herbal, mingling Sicilian lemon, lingonberry and angelica. Deliciously vivid jasmine and creamy tuberose emerge as the scent begins to settle, joined by fresh, powdery red rose and lush foliage. Rich ambergris and sensuous soft suede combine to produce a deliciously intimate musk finish that envelopes the senses in pure romance.
The Swedish perfume house Byredo was established in Stockholm in 2006 by Ben Gorham. Gorham was obsessed with fragrance from a young age, and was especially transformed by a visit to his mother's hometown in India, where he was deeply moved by the rich natural aromas of incense and spice. Jerome Epinette and Olivia Giacobetti are the noses behind house fragrances.
