As a concealer: use a pin sized amount and target placement in hollows around the eye area or on a spot to conceal. Gently dab to blend outward.
As a foundation: use a "grain of rice" amount to cover larger areas of the face. Dab it into areas that require more coverage then blend outward using your favourite tool.
