Governors Island Perfume by Bond No. 9, Governors Island, first introduced in 2018, is a refreshing and tranquil fragrance that is both woodsy and oriental. Earthy top notes of deep resin and balsam open this scent, before blending into cedar wood and honeyed ambrox for a deep and slightly sweet aroma. At the base is a calming, soothing mix of vetiver and musk for a scent that is reminiscent of the island’s lush forests. This fragrance, suitable for both men and women, is light enough for daily wear and is long-lasting.

Bond No. 9 was first created by Laurice Rahmé, a well-known perfumer, in 2003 in New York. This designer house is most famous for their line of strong perfumes, with many of the scents created from pure perfume oils in high concentrations. The company stands out with their special option for custom blending, in which blenders give individual consultations to customers so they can mix their own unique fragrances.
